In order to strengthen our Credit team we are looking to hire a Credit Analyst in Ferrari Financial Services, Inc., based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
In this position you will be reponsible responsible for determining a customer’s credit worthiness, analyzing credit and financial reports to determine risk involved in loaning money or extending credit.
As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess creditworthiness of existing or prospective clients
- Ability to review credit bureau information and summarize credit worthiness
- Examine financial transactions and credit history case by case (applications, statements, balance sheets, legal documents, tax returns, personal financial statements, etc.)
- Complete liquidity ratios and trend analyses to identify potential risk
- Determine company degree of risk involved
- Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports
- Ability to communicate credit decisions clearly and negotiate as needed
- High degree of flexibility and strong organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities
- Routinely monitor loans for compliance
- Adhere to credit policy and guidelines
- Monitor corporate portfolio asset quality on an ongoing basis
- Draft models of credit information that predict trends and patterns
In order to succeed in this challenging role Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field (a concentration in Finance is preferred). 4-6 years’ experience as a Credit Analyst/Commercial or Residential Lending/Financial Analysis. Preferred experience in auto lending but not a requirement.
The following skills are required to perform the role: Ability to analyze cash flow, leverage, collateral and customer strength, ability to interact with existing clients or prospective clients, at all income levels, in a professional manner. Ability to interact with dealership personnel in a professional manner. Ability to communicate and interact on a professional level with all employees in the organization. Sound judgement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to follow through on details to completion. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must have strong work ethic and integrity
