In order to strengthen our Marketing team we are looking to hire a Events Manager, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. 

 

In this position, you will be responsible for organizing multiple projects in the fields of luxury experiential Marketing. This individual must be creative, detailed oriented, fiscally responsible and have the ability to develop design concepts within the Ferrari standards. He/she will manage all stages of planning, design, and production for their assigned projects.  This ideal candidate will be equipped with strong project management skills, extreme attention to detail, time management skills, able to change direction quickly, interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple vendors, projects, navigate budgets, negotiations, and technical complexities of each special event project.

 

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

Project Management

  • Work cross functionally to conceptualize the most innovative and best in class events for the Ferrari Brand
  • Support events such as brand exhibitions, product launches/tours, Ferrari Rallies and Driving Programs
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring the project team is clear on deliverables, timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Develop and manage the overall event processes and proactively develop various components (including event concept, decor, catering, entertainment, logistics, etc.) involving key stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and negotiations while strengthening proficiency in logistics, functioning and formatting.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar events, opening purchase orders, track payments, find efficiencies/provide cost savings alternatives, double check all vendor payments.
  • Innovative thinker. Continual research and updating on current and relevant area of design, technology, industry standards, creative vendors/talent, music, etc.

Vendor and Agency Partnership

  • Work collaboratively with leadership to source and secure project resources within budget.
  • Foster and maintain relationships within the events industry and appropriate event vendors.
  • Manage production companies, agencies, and vendors to ensure they are meeting the specific design direction and guidelines that are in line with the Ferrari strategy, brand, image & budget.
  • Uphold and promote Ferrari brand ideals and Corporate Identity with vendors within the industry.

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved a Bachelors degree. with a minimum of 5 years expeirence in producing luxury events (preferably corporate or agency). 

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: Strong believer in teamwork and multidisciplinary approach, able to create excellent interpersonal relations. Passion for building brands and challenging status quo, with a cultural awareness that advises key concepts and emerging trends. Outstanding creative skills with a forward-thinking and innovative approach. Creative strategy and Project development experience, including operational plans and compelling presentations. Strong drive for outstanding and magnificent execution and attention to details. Proactive attitude and comfortable navigating through uncertainty while continuing to set challenging objectives and goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of competitive luxury landscape. Proactive problem-solving skills: ability to anticipate obstacles and quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with ability to effectively prioritize. Personable and flexible with demands and changes in extremely fast-moving business environment. Excellent technical skills MS Office
