In order to strengthen our Ferrari Financial Services team we are looking to hire a Treasury Specialist, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. 

 

In this position you will be reponsible managing and overseeing key functions, including the review and approval of all cash and debt-related entries to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies. This role plays a critical part in the organization’s securitization activities by reviewing securitization reporting for accuracy and completeness, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring timely submission to stakeholders. The Finance Specialist also supports the month-end close by providing data, reconciliations, and analysis, working closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure reporting integrity.

 

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Review daily cash entries and activities for accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Review and Approve month-end entries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review account reconciliations and financial analysis to maintain the integrity of financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of financial statements to the Parent Company, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the daily cash flow movements to ensure smooth operations and minimize delays.
  • Support the securitization processes by reviewing the reporting, and submissions.
  • Review reconciling escrow cash accounts related to securitization activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of securitization reporting.
  • Assist in the timely collection and submission of documentation requested by internal and external auditors.
  • Follow up promptly with third-party providers on accounting and system-related inquiries to resolve issues.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses to support the accounting team and broader business objectives.
  • Assist in implementing and enhancing accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices through ongoing learning and development.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: Proven experience as a Senior or Staff Accountant, with 5-7 years of hands-on accounting work. A solid foundation in general ledger management, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting is essential. Experience in the automotive industry accounting is highly desirable, but not required. Previous experience in a finance company or financial services environment is a plus. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel. Familiarity with Flexi financial software is a plus. Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to effectively manage relationships, resolve issues, and facilitate collaboration across departments. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all financial documentation, reconciliations, and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
