In order to strengthen our Lifestyle team we are looking to hire a Financial Analyst, based in New York (Soho), NY.

 

In this position you will be Responsible for the preparation, analysis and maintenance of financial operating activities for Ferrari Lifestyle North America division. Including budgets, forecasts, long term planning and pricing strategies for the US Market.  Provides a basis for management to evaluate and control Retail store’s performance and profitability.

 

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

 

  • Partners with the Ferrari Lifestyle North America President to identify business opportunities and maximize the revenues and the return of investments.
  • Responsible for all aspects of budgeting and forecast processes including:  planning, directing, scheduling, reviewing and reporting for both the wholesale and retail business.  This includes analysis of budget and forecast performance against previous forecasts and monthly actual results.  Investigate deviations and prepare explanations of variances.  Responsible for recommending corrective actions to CFO where necessary.
  • Develop and sustain a strong, collaborative relationship with HQ at Ferrari S.p.A in the coordination of budgeting and forecast processes, as well as transfer pricing analysis and the periodic review and reconciliation of landed costs associated to goods imported.
  • Liaise with Lifestyle departments to provide support with planning process and investigate budgeting and forecast deviations where necessary.
  • Review capital expenditures for inclusion in budgets and forecasts.
  • Responsible for pricing and product analysis as it relates to sales and cost of sales activity, including special sales, discounts, and incentives. 
  • Responsible for the accuracy of financial reports for all Retail stores.
  • Special projects as assigned.

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. MBA and CPA would be a plus.  

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field. Have at least 2 plus years of experience in automotive sales, inventory management, consumer finance or a related analytical role. Retail experience within a luxury segment is needed. 

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: Requires thorough technical knowledge of the accounting process in order to extract pertinent information from the accounting systems. Requires well developed analytical skills necessary to gather and analyze data. Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to elicit cooperation from others and to interact tactfully in order to ensure cross-functional support and collaboration. Demonstrates well developed communication skills necessary to communicate both orally and written in a clear manner when presenting financial information. Demonstrated ability to create complex financial business models in Excel. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment. Must have strong work ethic and integrity. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
