In order to strengthen our Finance team, we are looking to hire an Accounting Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy).
In this position, you will be responsible for:
•    Managing monthly/quarterly/year-end closings
•    Preparing statutory financial statements for Italian companies
•    Reconciling intercompany transactions and liaising with foreign subsidiaries
•    Accounting management of leases (IFRS 16)
•    Managing incoming invoice flows
•    Reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts
•    Recording journal entries
•    Managing the chart of accounts
•    Supporting internal departments and subsidiaries
•    Preparing reports and documentation for auditors
•    Processing forecast data
•    Preparing and analyzing spreadsheets required for financial statement closing
•    Completing official surveys and questionnaires (ISTAT, Bank of Italy, etc.)
•    Participating in process improvement projects in the area (application of AI, RPA, and closing process optimization)


Required Profile

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Degree in Economics and you will have gained at least 8 years of experience in a leading audit firm and/or in a company within the Accounting and Financial Reporting function.
Strong knowledge of accounting and both Italian GAAP and IFRS standards is mandatory to manage the activities.
Experience with accounting software (knowledge of Infor LN is a plus) and familiarity with HFM (Oracle) for consolidated reporting is required.
