In order to strengthen our Digital Transformation team, we are looking to hire a ERP Finance Digital Application Owner, based in Maranello (Italy).


In this position, you will act as a focal point on a specific Technology/Process inside the Digital Transformation function to analyze and refine functional and non-functional requirements for delivering the required technology service to the Business. You will be part of ERP Team and you will act as “Competence” Escalation Point for AMS services, to validate solution/implementation, or provide support.


The main responsibilities will be:
•    Supervise user requirements collection, functional and technical analysis, testing and deployment of new or enhanced solutions.

•    Identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
•    Develop a comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimation of cost, time and resources to develop the solution.
•    Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new application and/or major upgrades of an existing one.

•    Prepare user manuals describing application logic and operating procedures

•    Support to Finance process digitalization initiatives
•    Collaboration with IT teams for application and reporting improvements
•    Support to functional testing activities (UAT) on Finance systems

•    Drive, as Project manager, small/medium initiatives and, if needed, manage external vendors for related activities.

 

 

Required Profile
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Degree in Computer Science or Management Engineering. You will also have gained at least 2–3 years of experience working with key Finance ICT solutions and technologies, including ERP systems (preferably Infor LN, or SAP or similar), EPM solutions (such as OneStream), Treasury systems, and SQL development.
A solid understanding of software security concepts and ESB basic knowledge (e.g., WebMethods, Infor ION) are also required.

 

Basic knowledge of Finance processes and IT systems supporting financial management are mandatory to manage the activities, including: Main Finance Processes (e.g. budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, basic variance analysis – actual vs budget / forecast and support to cost analysis activities – OPEX / CAPEX); Accounting Basics (basic understanding of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements and support to period end closing activities); Controlling principles (cost center management and analysis, internal reporting and performance measurement and cost/Profitability analysis); Alignment between Finance processes and information systems.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) as well as a basic knowledge of BI tools (Infor Birst and Microsoft Power BI).
