We are looking for a dedicated intern in our Financial Cost Analysis team in Maranello.


You will cooperate in different activities, including: 
•    Support in the detailed cost analysis of components and systems for racing cars, with a specific focus on manufacturing technologies (e.g. machining, composite materials, additive manufacturing);
•    Collaborate with Design, Program Management, Purchasing and Production departments in the collection, analysis and synthesis of technical and financial data;
•    Participate in the preparation of reports, presentations and technical documentation for management and internal stakeholders;
•    Contribute to the identification of cost saving opportunities and to the optimization of production processes;
•    Support the economic evaluation of new projects, technical changes and production investments, including Make VS. Buy analyses

 

Required Profile

For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering or related fields.
 You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.
In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge.

 

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
Fluent English is required. 
Knowledge of main manufacturing technologies and industrial processes (e.g. machining, composite materials, assembly processes) are considered as a plus.
