In order to strengthen our Technologies & Infrastructures Department we are looking to hire a Foundry Machinery Engineering Technologist based in Maranello (Italy). You will be responsible for ensuring the definition and updating of the technological set-up of manufacturing equipment.

 

In this position, you will be responsible for:

 

•    Ensuring the research, design, installation and commissioning of the plant and equipment necessary for the production process or testing activities.
•    During the industrialisation phases, ensuring the continuous updating of plant set-up up to the production.
•    Coordinate equipment design activities with suppliers.
•    Managing modifications and improvements to existing equipment and installations.
•    Collaborating for the diagnosis and resolution of anomalies reported by the factory and the network. 

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Material Science, Engineering, Physics or equivalent. You should ideally have gained at least 2 years’ dedicated experience in foundry technology / engineering or manufacturing. Knowledge of materials, metal alloys and be familiar with casting production processes are important to manage the activities. Knowledge of CAD software to design or consult model equipment and experience with simulation software for cooling and solidification will be an asset. 

 

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong communication skills, team working and accountability are important skillset to manage activities and responsibility of the role.
Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
