In order to strengthen our Digital Transformation team, we are looking to hire a Manufacturing MES Application Owner, based in Maranello (Italy).
The mission of this role is to act as a focal point on a specific Technology/Process inside the Digital Transformation function to analyze and refine functional and non-functional requirements for delivering the required technology service to the Business. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of team Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Center of Excellence (MES COE) and you will act as “Competence” Escalation Point for AMS services, to validate solution/implementation, or provide support.
The main responsibilities will be:
• Drive operational efficiency and quality of factory applications through the implementation of advanced manufacturing solutions
• Supervise user requirements collection, functional and technical analysis, testing and deployment of new or enhanced solutions.
• Identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
• Develop a comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimation of cost, time and resources to develop the solution.
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new application and/or major upgrades of an existing one.
• Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures.
• Drive, as Project manager, small/medium initiatives and, if needed, manage external vendors for related activities.
Required Profile
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Degree in Computer Science or Management Engineering or similar and you will have gained at least 3 years dedicated experience in automotive sector and Manufacturing processes.
Good knowledge on key Automotive Supply Chain and Manufacturing processes is mandatory to manage the activities, for example: facilitate seamless machine integration into existing IT systems for manufacturing; manufacturing plant startup processes; production area management Optimize the manufacturing process by monitoring, tracking, documenting and controlling the entire production lifecycle; promote efficiency improvement by evaluating and mapping processes and by promoting information exchange between functions; quality Processes over Manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of SIMATIC MES Manufacturing Execution Systema, experience with OPC UA tools, cloud solution concepts (Azure, AWS ), Jira, Confluence, Remote Desktop, and M365, SQL Development concepts, Software security concepts, ESB basic (WebMethods) and Power BI are required.
The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Fluent English is required.
