Passive Safety Performance Engineer (Maranello)

In order to strengthen our engineering team we are looking to hire a Passive Safety Performance Engineer, based in Maranello (Italy).  As part of the team, you will:

•    Support Innovation Team leading passive safety performance through engineering analysis, data and video analysis, suggesting new ideas;
•    Support Components Development Team leading passive safety performance through analysis and suggesting possible solutions;
•    Define the passive safety targets for each components;
•    Define activities plan for each components (passive safety relevant). 

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree or Ph.D in Mechanical, Biomedical or Vehicle Engineering. And you will have gained at least 3 years’ dedicated experience in passive safety field, in particular proved experience on development of front restrain system fot US market, side restrained system and crash test planning.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically, including attention to details and critical thinking ability. It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions and accountability is essential for this role.

Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage. We appreciate individuals with experience outside their country of origin, allowing for a multicultural mindset.
