In order to strengthen our Communication Team we are looking for a Social Media Planning & Strategy Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy).


One of the main objectives of the Ferrari Communications team is to preserve a coherent and consistent storytelling of the Brand despite such different souls, exploiting the common values and the "reason why" to reinforce our key messages to all Ferrari fans and stakeholders. 
The Ferrari social ecosystem is an extensive network of profiles distributed on the main social platforms and includes both the sports channels, Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari Driver Academy, Hypercar and Esports, and those dedicated to the promotion of our cars, as well as the driving activities of our customers, up to the world of fashion with Ferrari Style and official museums. 


The Social Media Planning & Strategy Specialist will have two main responsibilities:

1.    Guarantee constancy across all the Ferrari social ecosystem, enhancing the common values and identity of the Brand across all channels, building on opportunities of events/appointments specific to each soul to amplify brand messaging and identifying editorial streams that promote and amplify the brand's awareness through specific content production occasions.
2.    Oversee the management and evolution of the social media presence of Ferrari. 

 

Responsibility and tasks: 

  • Build and execute social media strategy through continuous interaction with the partner agencies, the social media platforms’ accounts and with the Media Network and Marketing teams.
  • Be constantly updated on the latest social media trends and outcomes. 
  • Develop and lead strategic relations with 3rd parties – such as content creators.
  • Identify opportunities to build shared flows of narration, production and distribution of content with the aim of involving all Ferrari souls while respecting their peculiarities and fan preferences. 
  • Constant monitoring of the main KPIs trend, in order to guarantee the most profitable content distribution during the year and a prompt reaction in case of not positive performance. 
  • Monitor competitors’ social media activities. 
  • Set up and optimize project pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content.
  • Lead the creative definition and production of hero content, coordinating content production on site or during brand events off site. 
  • Address, review and validate assets to populate our editorial plans. 
  • Create editorial calendars and optimize schedules.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Collaborate with the other social teams to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.


Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
  • 5-7 years working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media / producer role
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills

Fluent English is required for the position.
