In order to strengthen our Technical Regulation team, we are looking to hire a Technical Regulation Specialist in the area of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Critical Substances, and Circularity requirements based in Maranello (Italy). You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing regulations in all countries where we import, specifically focusing on the aforementioned vehicle regulations. Based in the R&D direction, you will contribute to shaping targets that advance sustainability deployment, influence business decisions, and drive innovation.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and analysing key international regulations, directives, and standards related to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Critical Substances, and Circularity topics.
- Effectively summarizing these complex regulatory frameworks into comprehensible information, facilitating efficient internal communication and enabling each department to understand the specific impact and implications these regulations have on their operations.
- Leading Ferrari's participation in regulatory industry working groups on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Critical Substances, and Circularity topics, cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align organizational goals with international directives.
- Handling rulemaking monitoring activities through Ferrari HUBs and local representatives.
- Supporting the inter-functional team with the goal to lead Ferrari to Carbon Neutrality by providing assistance with the international regulatory scenario.
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences. You should ideally have gained at least 3 years’ dedicated experience in Life Cycle Assessment analysis or Critical Substances regulations. Previous experience in certification or regulatory compliance, preferably but not limited to the automotive industry will be an asset. Understanding of global vehicle regulations and certification processes is required to manage the activities.

Strong communication skills and accountability are important skillsets to manage activities and responsibilities of the role. Fluent English is required for the position, and Italian language skills are an advantage.
