The Ferrari Lifestyle and Fashion team is based in Milan (Italy). And we are looking to hire a dedicated Lead Buyer in order manage Purchasing Strategies and activities for Ferrari Lifestyle team.

In this role, you will work internal as well as external stakeholders and suppliers, to coordinate purchasing planning, activation and ensuring alignment with targets and KPIs. As well as working on dispute resolution and claims management, to optimize the Fashion product development. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement actions and developing new commodity strategy for Purchasing Life Style activities.

Specifically, your activities will include supplier scouting and benchmarking, managing purchasing budget, negotiations and technical reviews, supporting the Design team in new sourcing strategies and the development of raw materials (i.e. textiles), accessories, and manufactures. 

 

Desired Skills

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you ideally have achieved excellent academic results in the Fashion field (ideally including a master degree in Fashion or similar), and you have at least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing with focus on raw materials (i.e. textiles), tenders, and processes.

Ideally, you have gained experience in other Luxury and Fashion Companies.

In Ferrari, you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-changing environment, thinking analytically and demonstrating strong communication and negotiations skills (such as the ability to listen and understand supplier cost drivers).

Since you will interact with foreign suppliers, fluent English is a must-have and we appreciate candidates with international experiences and multicultural mindset.

You will work in our Milano Office, travelling weekly to our Maranello HQ and to suppliers’ sites. Flexibility is required to perform this role at the highest possible level.
