In order to strengthen our Ferrari Lifestyle team we are looking to hire a Store Operations Manager, based in Soho, NY boutique. 

 

As a Ferrari Lifestyle Soho Store Operations Manager, you will be hyper-focused on building and establishing Ferrari Lifestyle as a fashion icon in your individual market and country. In your role, you will be responsible for leading the store operations team and/or processes. You will ensure support to the business by overseeing an organized and efficient stockroom, accurate inventory and prioritize providing our clients with exceptional service by supporting the selling process, as needed. You will lead the day-to-day operations and overall operational and organizational strategy and partner with the Store Director in all matters; you are expected to be proficient in all aspects of the business. You will be a dynamic and inspiring leader who has a strong background in relationship building skills, with both external and internal clients to ensure a well-rounded business and team. 

 

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Operations:  

  • Drive, direct, and develop operational excellence across all aspects of the store 

  • Ensure an accurate and organized store inventory at all times – oversee store cycle counts, scheduled inventories, and reconciliation with support and direction from the Store Director 

  • Assess and evaluate operations with a commercial mindset and propose strategic improvements 

  • Training new hires and existing staff on all operating policies and procedures 

  • Coach and develop direct reports in areas of operations, customer service and sales support 

  • Liaise with corporate departments such as Operations, Inventory Planning, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, etc. as needed 

  • Manage store processes for areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, and inventory management 

  • Understand, train and execute cash control procedures including: bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash 

  • Process repairs and damages on a timely basis according to company guidelines 

  • Assist with physical maintenance of the boutique 

  • Place orders as needed for all supplies for the office and store 

 

Customer Service: 

  • Support the Store Director to share a culture of clienteling and relationship building amongst the team  

  • Resolve all customer service issues quickly and effectively  

 

Merchandising/Visual: 

  • Assist the Store Director with the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising/ visual directives  

  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all times  

  • Ensure deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner  

  • Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner to corporate partners 

  • Communicate inventory needs to support the business goal to corporate partners 

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Minimum 7-10 years retail experience with at least 5 years of retail within luxury segment, specializing in Operations and Inventory Management. Experience working with international brands is a plus.

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: Extremely strong communication skills (verbal and written), Excellent organizational skills, Experienced with technology to utilize internal retail systems and shipping software programs. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. Keen sense of current fashion trends and fashion sensibility within luxury segment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
