Accounting Manager (Englewood Cliffs, USA)

In order to strengthen our Accounting team in Ferrari Financial Services, we are looking to hire a Accounting Manager, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. 

In this position you will be reponsible managing the company’s financial closing process related to the general ledger accounts including balance sheet and profit & loss accounts in a timely manner. Maintain accuracy of company financial information while ensuring internal controls and procedures are followed.

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ledger activity related to Ferrari Financial Services business
  • Journal entries
  • Account reconciliations
  • Account analysis
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and submission to Parent company
• Maintain/update portfolio asset database system and use results to create robust reporting structure
• Comply with monthly, quarterly and annual public company reporting requirements
• Timely follow-up with third party providers regarding accounting and lease/loan administration system inquiries
• Coordinate daily dealer funding, including review of contracts and required supporting documentation
• Approval of Banking transactions for Select and Defi reconciliations
• Regular interaction with colleagues at Maranello factory/prompt response to inquiries required
• Verify all dealer finance commission payouts
• Apprise Ferrari Financial Services Head of Finance of potential issues
• Assist with periodic state reporting requirements

In order to succeed in this role you will need a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/ or Finance. With 3-5 years’ years of relevant accounting experience required and 1-3 years’ management experience preferred. 

The following skills are required to perform the role:  Experience with G/L functions and the month-end/year end close process. Experience with end-to-end integrated systems. Experience in auto industry accounting is a plus. Finance company experience is a plus. CPA is highly desirable. Knowledge of Flexi financial software is a plus. Thorough knowledge cost center and balance sheet analysis. Knowledge of Financial statement flux analysis. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever-changing environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
