In order to strengthen our Motorsports team, we are looking to hire a Driving Programs Manager, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. 

 

In this position you will be reponsible Manage complete P&L for Corso Pilota driving school and other events using fleet (F1 Hot Laps, Sponsor Courses, Marketing Events, etc).  events.  Full management responsibilities of the program from ideation, sales and marketing, and operational execution to Ferrari standards of a luxury driving event.  Ensure that strategy and tactics are in line with the Ferrari corporate vision and Ferrari North America’s objectives. Support the Motorsports team with their specific area endeavors.

 

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders of the department:
    • Internal being our FNA Communications/ Marketing/ Aftersales/Finance/Purchasing departments
    • External being the agencies (event production, logistics, concierge) used before and during events, as well as dealers.
  • Complete sales and marketing responsibilities direct to dealer and client to ensure all projected seats for courses are sold. Proactive approach required
  • Support and maintain relationships before, during and after events, i.e. being a point of contact for all tracks, vendors, dealers, as well as for each individual client
  • Event A- Z coordination and onsite support of event
  • Agency & dealer contact for all ride & drive activities
  • Develop a comprehensive customer experience to further improve satisfaction rate of participants and guests to our programs
  • Invoice processing and budget tracking and monitor event budgets
  • Manage hotel room blocks, bookings, shuttle services and dinners
  • Participate in strategic event planning and direction
  • Maintain events calendar, plan and negotiate with tracks for the next year’s Corso Pilota calendar (to be finalized by August each year).
  • Ensure Ferrari Brand and Communication Guidelines are represented and protected in any/all events and marketing activities.

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum. 

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: 4+ years of experience in the fields of high-end events, Luxury (Automotive or other sectors) brand. Experience with events planning, marketing events, project management. Extremely strong communication skills (verbal and written) with strong presentation skills. Ability to meaningfully interact with clients. Ability to present a sophisticated, polished presence to represent Ferrari North America. Must be current with latest website technologies and trends. Attention to detail, accuracy and a customer-oriented mindset are pre-requisites. Comprehensive analytical and customer relations skills. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment. Must have strong work ethic and integrity. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Power Point and Excel
