In order to strengthen our Motorsports team we are looking to hire a Ferrari Challenge Tech & Corso Pilota Fleet Management, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
The Motorsports Technical support specialist will support the motorsports team with technical and administrative tasks for the Ferrari Challenge Series and Ferrari Corso Pilota driving programs.
As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ferrari Challenge Technical Scrutineering & Support
- Prepare all motorsports teams before each event. Safety inspections, Regulatory procedures etc.
- Analyze mechanical / electrical and operational problems on and off track by using Wintax/ Sysma and RCS diagnostic software. This may occur either 1) on-site at Englewood Cliffs, NJ 2) off-site at FAPS (Port Location) or 3) on track at Challenge/ Corso Pilota events. Keep track and report all issues to FNA team and factory.
- Test calibrate and verify all equipment used in all events for quality and accuracy at the beginning and end of each event.
- Perform preventive maintenance of technical related equipment.
- Observes and follows all necessary safety regulations when operating machinery, equipment and tools, both on-site as well as off-site on track.
- Enforcement of Challenge technical regulations.
- Debrief reporting after each event. Advises management and factory of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective actions required.
- Recruitment and organization of on-site technical support for each event.
Corso Pilota Fleet Management
- Coordinate fleet logistics, repairs, parts inventory and ordering
- Coordinate with FNA aftersales team regarding new vehicles and defleet management
- Act as on-site technical lead supporting mechanics
- Oversee vehicle repairs and maintenance as needed
In order to succeed in this challenging role a Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
The following skills are required to perform the role: Previous experience in technical motorsports engineering preferred or other related fields. Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment. Knowledge of Wintax Sysma and RCS diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of Excel to be able to support completion of daily tasks as well as maintain reporting where necessary. Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in automotive industry, luxury automobile market preferred. Valid driver’s license in good standing. ASE Certification is a plus. Position requires physical activity, Lifting of items with maximum weight of approx. 50 lbs.

Travel: Must be able to travel frequently (50%) within the U.S. with some international travel. Travel also occurs during the weekend (i.e. race weekends). Travel to dealer and corporate events (10%) as required.
