In order to strengthen our Motorsports team we are looking to hire a Motorsports Driving Programs Specialist, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
In this position you will be reponsible Coordinate events and activities for Ferrari North America’s (FNA) Corso Pilota program (Driving school and coaching) to ensure that strategy and tactics are in line with the Ferrari corporate vision and Ferrari North America’s objectives. Support the Motorsports team with their specific area endeavors.
As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- General
- Support the Motorsport Driving Programs Manager in coordinating the internal and external stakeholders of the programs
- internal being Ferrari North America other departments such as Communications/ Marketing/ Aftersales / Legal / Finance
- external being the agencies used before and during events (event production, logistics, Concierge), FNA dealer network, and of course customers.
- Support the Head of Motorsport in coordinating the internal and external stakeholders for Challenge, Club Challenge and the Competizioni GT business.
- Department CRM: create, maintain and update a CRM system for the department, update and manage motorsports customers database, update and manage motorsports customers and dealers mailing lists, track customer lifecycle and pinpoint important follow up, with three main targets:
- Ensure timely communication with end customers to promote the relevant activities of the department
- Work with FNA CRM Manager to extract lists of customers to push to FNA dealer network to ensure proactive follow-up by dealers
- Supply FNA Motorsports Department with lists of targeted customers for their respective businesses
- Support the Motorsport Driving Programs Manager in coordinating the internal and external stakeholders of the programs
- Corso Pilota:
Support the Motorsport Driving Program Manager:
- Support and maintain relationships before, during and after events, i.e. being a point of contact for all vendors as well as for each individual client and dealer
- Events A- Z coordination and onsite support
- Develop a comprehensive customer experience to further improve satisfaction rate of participants and guests to our programs
- Coordinate hotel room blocks, bookings, shuttle services and dinners
- Invoice processing, budget tracking and monitor event budgets
- Billing
- Accruals
- Follow up on payment receivables
- Manage invoices received from suppliers and ensure timely payment
- Follow up of internal approval processes
- Contracts Approvals
- Purchase Orders
- Parts Orders
- Vehicle release forms
- Defleet Requests
- Participate in strategic event planning and direction
- Maintain events calendar (i.e. Corso Pilota Events, Dealer Tracks Days, Corso Pilota Marketing opportunities, etc.)
- Proactively ensure that sales objectives and performance targets are met
- Ensure Ferrari Brand and Communication Guidelines are represented and protected in any/all events and marketing activities
- Manage Corso Pilota Marketing Material
- Updates to photography, videography, brochure, etc.
- Manage event and marketing photo repository
- Manage Corso Pilota repository on Dealer Marketing Portal
- Manage Corso Pilota Inventory
- Track inventory needs and reorders
- Ensure on time deliveries and shipments
- Monitor orders and delivery status from vendors for equipment needed for official racing events
- Organize the distribution of FNA team uniforms and of drivers/customers’ racing gears and casual wear (after collection of data from drivers and teams) by creating yearly team and driver kits; Manage kits and uniforms inventory (with Uniform size spreadsheet), including reorder if necessary
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved a Bachelor's degree. 4-6 years of business, high-end event management, public relations and/or communications experience. Experience with events planning, marketing events, project management. Prior Motorsports experience a plus
The following skills are required to perform the role: Extremely strong communication skills (verbal and written) with strong presentation skills, ability to meaningfully interact with clients. Ability to present a sophisticated, polished presence to represent Ferrari North America. Must be current with latest website technologies and trends. Attention to detail, accuracy and a customer-oriented mindset are pre-requisites. Comprehensive analytical and customer relations skills. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, ever changing environment. Must have strong work ethic and integrity. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Power Point and Excel. Must be highly organized, also be process-oriented. Must be result-driven. Energy and enthusiasm to produce high quality work and contribute to team’s results. Proficiency in Italian would be a plus
