In order to strengthen our Sales & Marketing team we are looking to hire a Pre-Owned and Remarketing Specialist, based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. 

 

In this position, In this role, you will provide enhanced control of the pre-owned market for FNA, this role would be responsible for the development, maintenance and presentation of all used vehicle sales for the North American and Latin American  market.  Additional responsibilities include Collaborate closely with Regional Managers to support dealer interactions, ensuring effective communication and alignment of pre-owned vehicle strategies. Provide specialized reporting and analytics on pre-owned vehicle performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies. Also responsible for managing the de-fleet process of internal Ferrari North America Marketing, Press and Training vehicles, ensuring timely release and maximized profitability. 

 

As part of the team, your main responsiblities will be:

 

INVENTORY ANALYSIS:  Monitor and analyze used car inventory to ensure optimal stock levels, turnover rates, and profitability. Proactively identify changes in market conditions.

 

MARKET RESEARCH:  Leveraging existing vendors, conduct comprehensive market research to understand current trends, consumer demand, and competitive information. Use this data to forecast market movements and provide reporting to internal Ferrari North America and Ferrari SpA business units.

 

DATA MANAGEMENT:  Collect, maintain, and analyze data related to used vehicle sales performance and profitability. Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.  Submit data to relevant business units to support KPI tracking.

 

PERFORMANCE METRICS: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, gross profit, inventory turnover, and market share for the Ferrari North America and Latin America markets.  Monitor Certified Pre-Owned market penetration for Ferrari North America and its network of dealers.

 

COLLABORATION: Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align strategies and ensure that inventory and pricing decisions support overall business objectives.  Support aftersales with Certified Pre-Owned warranty trends.  Attend weekly meetings with both Ferrari SpA and related business units within Ferrari North America to support both Pre-owned business and the remarketing of internal fleet vehicles.

 

VENDOR RELATIONS:  Maintain relationships with suppliers, auctions, and other vendors to monitor both Ferrari and competitive pre-owned markets.

 

COMPLIANCE:  Ensure all inventory and sales activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.

 

REMARKETING:  Must liaise between sales and other departments to manage order and production timing to support defleet cadence.  Responsible for (but is not limited to) managing defleet cadence, price determination, auction listings and support with invoicing of used/defleeted vehicles.

 

REPORTING:  Responsible for the regular, accurate, timely analysis and reporting on all aspects of the remarketing department. Work with Finance Department to compile regular reporting for the business Head Quarters in Italy. Assist with all internal and external audits providing all relevant information and support as required.

Additional projects and/or duties as assigned.

 

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field. Have at least 2 plus years of experience in automotive sales, inventory management, consumer finance or a related analytical role. 

 

The following skills are required to perform the role: Strong understanding of the automotive industry, Excellent data analysis skills, Ability to make data driven decisions, Conscientious & experienced analyst with a keen eye for detail. Driven self-starter with the ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines. Advanced experience in Excel, Power-point and Word. Ability to work well in a team as well as by oneself with minimal daily supervision. Ability to build good working relationships with other departments within the business. Ability to prioritize and achieve required performance targets. Demonstrates sense of urgency in terms of meeting service and productivity targets. Takes ownership of work queues. Good communication, verbal and written skills. Maintains professionalism in all aspects of communication. Demonstrates ability to communicate appropriately with different levels within the company. Good problem-solving skills. Assertive & resilient. Puts team and organization’s goals above individual goals.  Ability to maintain a satisfactory attendance record. Welcomes and participates in change. Able to interact with the Manager, accept feedback and change behavior based on feedback. Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling.
