Job Description:

For this excited position, you will be included in the Department of Purchasing&Quality in the division of Purchasing, you will support the team in the analysing cost items and negotiating all aspects with the supplier, in accordance with company targets and scouting for new suppliers and market benchmarks.

 

You will have the opportunity to interact with various company functions (Quality, Technical Management, Cost Engineering), developing cross-functional skills in commercial, technical, managerial, and operational areas.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the Purchasing Project Responsible in the operational management of change request forms.
  • Interface with different company departments (Quality, Technical Management, Cost Engineering) to gather and process technical and economic information.
  • Collaborate in planning activities, ensuring compliance with the expected timelines and costs.
  • Contribute to the internal negotiation of implementation timelines for changes.
  • Monitor the progress of activities and report any critical issues or deviations.
  • Participate in operational meetings and prepare the related supporting documentation.
  • Support cross-functional communication between the various stakeholders involved in the project.

 

Required profile

You will ideally be recent graduate or Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Mechanical or Management Engineering, Economics or similar.


You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects that allow you to understand the business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

 

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). 


Fluent English is required.
