Component Development Responsible - ADAS & Sensors (Maranello)

In order to strenghten our engineering team, we are looking to hire a Component Development Responsible in the ADAS & Sensors area, based in Maranello (IT).

The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced, dynamic and car-enthusiastic engineer, able to work on the newest technologies in a challenging and cutting-edge environment, combining technical and management skills.

As a part of the team, you will be responsible of bringing to production new ADAS components with the responsibility of reaching agreed component performance, timing and costs. This involves:
•    Critical analysis of target setting and integration specification
•    Functionality definition at component level, and coordination of component specification production
•    Interface with all the company stakeholder departments: validation, vehicle, production, quality, homologation
•    Supplier management and monitoring
•    Planning of HW/SW development and validation activities
•    Budget planning and management for component development/application
•    Monitoring of validation activities, both on supplier’s and internal side, report and release analysis
•    Proposal and coordination of technical solutions to HW/SW issues
•    Proposal of improvements on existing component contents, process  and methodologies

In order to succeed, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results in a Master Degree or PhD in Electronics/Mechatronic/Automation engineering or equivalent, and you will have gained at least 3 years of experience at a tier1 or OEM of the automotive filed, focusing on ADAS sensors development such as cameras or radars, both on HW and SW side.

Knowledge about ADAS sensors physics and technologies (cameras,  radars, USS, lidars), automotive ECU HW and SW architectures, ECU communication and diagnostics protocols, HW and SW development processes are mandatory to manage the activities above. Tools for validation of automotive electronic systems shall be know, like  Canalyzer, Canape, Inca, as well as Matlab Simulink and programming languages like Python and  C/C++.

Fluent English is required, while  fluent Italian is an advantage.

Strong technical project management, decision  making, reduction of complexity skills, and accountability, are essential  to manage the activites and work transversally within the organization.
