For this challenging and learningful role, you will support the R&D department specifically inside the Vehicle Concept DMU & CAD team. The objective of the project is to develop an innovative procedure for virtual vehicle validation, leveraging the potential of CAD tools and the use of virtual prototypes (Digital Mock-Up). Particular focus will be placed on the use of 3D models representing the maximum volumes occupied by components and systems in various operating configurations.
The procedure aims to reduce or eliminate the need for physical mock-ups or prototypes, by preventing as many assembly-related conflicts or issues as possible. The project also includes the integration and enhancement of existing PLM tools for anomaly management, as well as the development of digital tools for the structured and time-based organization of virtual checks and the management of the related technical requirements.
Key responsibilities:
• Analyze CAD models and visually inspect potential conflicts between vehicle components and systems
• Report basic issues related to functional coherence and performance of the analyzed components/systems
• Develop and implement tools for the standardization and scheduling of virtual checks, supporting the technical validation of components/systems
Required profile
You will ideally be recent graduate or Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering.
You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects that allow you to understand the business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
Fluent English is required.
Knowledge of Catia is a plus.
