In order to strengthen our Powertrain Test Facilities Team, we are looking to hire a Powertrain Test Facilities Maintenance Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy). In this role, you will be responsible for the technical, organizational and operational management of maintenance activities on the company’s plants in the Powertrain testing area, ensuring operational continuity, safety and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate external suppliers, manage the planning of interventions through dedicated software, and support the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and scheduling ordinary, extraordinary and predictive maintenance activities through dedicated software (knowledge of Prometeo is a plus).
  • Updating and monitoring the maintenance plan and related KPIs (efficiency, plant availability, MTBF, MTTR).
  • Managing internal reports and assigning maintenance activities to internal or external resources and suppliers.
  • Managing anomalies and corrective actions derived from the plants under your responsibility.
  • Operational and organizational management of supplier interventions: planning visits, supervising activities, and final verification of works.
  • Requesting, collecting and comparing offers for supplies, spare parts and services.
  • Organizing and issuing site access permits and coordinating safety documentation.
  • Analyzing company systems and plants to identify critical issues, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Applying FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis) principles in failure analysis.
  • Supporting the definition of technical and strategic solutions to increase the availability and reliability of the plants.

In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have: a degree in Engineering or a technical diploma with equivalent experience. At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, plant management, R&D, testing or quality, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector. It is important to have knowledge of safety regulations and experience in managing technical documentation (such as DUVRI, access permits, etc.).
Experience with maintenance planning software (e.g., Prometeo) and technical KPI management would be highly valuable.
The ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-changing environment, with strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Proactivity in proposing innovative solutions to optimize processes and activities. Fluent English is required for the position; Italian language skills are an advantage.
