R&D Program Management Internship (Maranello)

We are looking for a dedicated intern in our Program Management team, with specific activities involving in manage the timing and related development costs of one or more components and will collaborate with the function manager in overseeing the relevant function.  

You will cooperate in different activities, including: 
•    Supports in the development costs that will populate the multi-year R&D budget and the related annual spending;
•    Monitors the progress of the Plan, highlighting potential risks/opportunities;
•    Plans and determines the needs for resources and facilities in order to ensure the activities of the function in compliance with the PGP and Component Plan;
•    Monitors the initiative in line with objectives, highlighting potential risks, according to company processes, methodologies, and KPIs;
•    Collaborates with the CDC manager in defining the correct allocation/skills of resources within projects, in order to maximize productivity;
•    Monitors the actual hours reported for projects, highlighting any discrepancies between planned and actual;
•    Defines, in agreement with the CDC manager, the best Make/Buy strategy for skills/performance;
•    Manages the operational aspects of the economic management related to the plans and the CdC (e.g., issuing purchase requests consistent with objectives).

Required profile

For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Management, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or similar. 

You will not only have a passion for automotive and innovative solutions, but also already gained first work-experience through internships or projects (in automotive or luxury sectors) that allow you to understand business complexities and help you to develop your personal and communicative skills.

In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge.

The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). 
Knowledge of PowerBi would be a plus.
Fluent English is required.
